Scouts BSA - Cub Scouts - Sea Scouts

The goal of the Boy Scouts of America, as incorporated on February 8, 1910 and chartered by Congress in 1916, is "to provide for boys and young adults an effective educational program designed to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and to enhance the development of physical, mental and emotional fitness."

Scout Law: A Scout is trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous, kind, obedient, cheerful, thrifty, brave, clean, and reverent.

Scout Oath or Promise: On my honor I will do my best to do my duty to God and my country and to obey the Scout Law; to help other people at all times; to keep myself physically strong, mentally awake, and morally straight.

Cub Scout Pack 1833 

Chartered in 2018 to provide Family Scouting to young boys and girls, Kindergarten to 5th Grade (ages 5 to 10), in Powhatan County. 

We are a Family Scouting Cub Scout Pack chartered at SJN and our unit accepts boys as well as girls. 

The unit serves boys and girls from Kindergarten through Fifth Grade. Each year our Scouts learn to be a stewards of their community and develop a love of the outdoors.
