Message from Fr. Lewis

Dear parish family,

If you are compromised in any way, you are again encouraged to simply stay at home and unite yourself to the community through prayer.

Good news: If you are interested in taking communion to a loved one, come into the sacristy at least 5 minutes before Mass. You will find a tray there. Write your name on a provided slip (post it note) of paper, indicate how many hosts you need, and leave your pyx. Mary Cleary will put in the unconsecrated hosts. The tray will be brought to the altar, the hosts will be consecrated during the mass and brought back to the sacristy for you to retrieve after Mass. Thank you for helping those who are unable to attend to receive the Eucharist. If you have any of our pyx that you do not need, please bring them to the church as we anticipate an increased need.

Have you gotten to the store and realized that you didn’t have a mask? We now have disposable masks that are individually packaged available in the Narthex for you to keep in your car or purse. The suggested donation is $2 each. (Any proceeds from this project will be donated to Habitat for Humanity.) Personally, I have a few in my car, and after I’ve been in a densely populated environment, the mask is disposable. Let us help you and others!

Again, thank you for your weekly support through Faith Direct, or a hand mailed contribution or a check. We cannot keep the doors open without your support and we truly appreciate your sacrificial gifts during this time.

My prayers continue for you and your loved ones,

Fr. Lewis
